Art Details
Nasrullah was a highly influential Thoroughbred stallion who, although not as well-known for his racing career, left an indelible mark on the breed through his offspring. Foaled in 1940 in Ireland, Nasrullah was bred by the Aga Khan III and later sold to American breeder A.B. “Bull” Hancock Jr. of Claiborne Farm. As a racehorse, Nasrullah showed promise, winning several races in England, including the Champion Stakes, but his true legacy was realized in his role as a breeding stallion.
